  • Breanne Schiffer, MD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor of Laryngology within the Division of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ of Utah.

    Dr. Schiffer completed her fellowship training in Laryngology under the guidance of Dr. Marshall Smith at the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ of Utah. She also completed her residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ of Utah. She believes in a multi-disciplinary team-based approach to the management of patients with voice, swallow, and airway concerns and has a particular interest in the medical and surgical treatment of voice disorders.

    She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ in College Station, TX, and received a Master in Public ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ from the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ of Texas School of Public ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ. She completed medical school at the Long School of Medicine – ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ of Texas ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ Science Center in San Antonio, TX, where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

    Dr. Schiffer's clinical interests in Laryngology include vocal fold paralysis, vocal fold nodules, polyps, and cysts, laryngeal reinnervation, in-office vocal fold augmentation, vocal fold laser treatments, laryngeal microsurgery, zenker's diverticulum repair, cricopharyngeal myotomy, botox treatment for voice disorders, and endoscopic treatment of airway stenosis.
