  • Dr. Sweney received her medical degree from the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ of Nebraska College of Medicine, completed her Pediatric residency at Creighton-Nebraska Universities Joint residency, and her Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship at the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ of Utah. She received her MBA from the Eccles School of Business Executive program in 2016. She has been on the faculty of the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ of Utah Department of Pediatrics since 2010.

    She is an Associate Professor in Pediatrics at the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ of Utah and is in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care. She is the Critical Care Division Chief. She also chairs the Primary Children's Hospital Ethics Committee and Ethics consultation team. Dr. Sweney's clinical interests include pediatric bioethics, disaster preparedness, and care staff models.
