    Dr. Archibeck was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He left New Mexico after high school and attended the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ of Notre Dame for his undergraduate education. He went on to attend medical school at U.C.L.A. He then completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ of Utah. He subsequently spent a year of fellowship training specifically in adult reconstruction at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s and Midwest Orthopaedics in Chicago.

    Following his fellowship, he and his wife returned home to Albuquerque, where he developed a busy joint replacement practice and they raised their four daughters. Dr. Archibeck was thrilled to return to the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ of Utah in 2021 as an associate professor.

    Outside of work he enjoys time with his family, cycling, and brewing beer.

    Dr, Archibeck is the best! I had a difficult case and he was extremely attentive, listened to all of my concerns, and allayed all my fears. He even called me personally at home the night of my out-patient surgery to ask how I was doing! I highly recommend him to anyone who wants a caring, wonderful doctor.
