He then completed a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center while also obtaining his masters of science in cancer biology from the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ of Texas ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ Science Center at Houston. Apte obtained an MBA from the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ of Tennessee in 2012. Apte joined Huntsman Cancer Institute in 2021.
