At the heart of Huntsman Cancer Institute鈥檚 Sexual 人妻中出视频 and Wellbeing Clinic is Kristianna Kundrat, DNP, women鈥檚 health nurse practitioner and an advocate for women navigating life during and after cancer treatment.
Her passion for women鈥檚 health began during her years as a nurse with the gynecologic oncology surgery team. Kristianna鈥檚 dedication to women鈥檚 health led to her doctorate degree, but it was her mother鈥檚 breast cancer diagnosis that truly shaped Kristianna鈥檚 path.
鈥淚t became clear to me that recovery needs to go beyond treating the disease.鈥
鈥淲atching my mom go through a journey that included surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation during nursing school was life-changing,鈥 Kristianna shares. 鈥淗er treatment focused solely on the cancer, but I saw firsthand how it affected every part of her鈥攂ody image, diet, mental health and overall well-being. It became clear to me that recovery needs to go beyond treating the disease.鈥
This holistic philosophy guides her work at the clinic, which opened its doors in December 2024. Designed as a safe, welcoming space, it addresses delicate issues often overlooked in the rush of medical appointments鈥攍ow libido, pain with intercourse, vaginal dryness, and other challenges to intimacy. 鈥淪exual health often falls through the cracks because providers have so many important things to cover during appointments,鈥 Kristianna explains. 鈥淏ut here, women have the time and space to talk openly about what they鈥檙e experiencing and reassurance that this can be a normal part of their cancer journey and recovery.鈥

Kristianna meets with patients every Friday in Huntsman Cancer Institute Hospital North at the to develop tailored plans that address every patient鈥檚 unique needs. Whether it鈥檚 exploring nonhormonal or hormonal treatments, referring patients to pelvic floor therapy, or finding ways to restore intimacy without sexual activity, she approaches each case with sensitivity and expertise. 鈥淚t鈥檚 amazing to see the difference these conversations make,鈥 she says. 鈥淲hen patients realize their concerns are valid and treatments are available, they feel empowered.鈥
Her work extends to patients with a wide range of conditions, including those with breast, ovarian, endometrial, and cervical cancers, and even rare issues like . Kristianna hopes to expand the clinic鈥檚 services, ensuring every woman feels supported. 鈥淭he care we provide is exceptional at Huntsman Cancer Institute,鈥 she notes. 鈥淲e have many resources鈥nutrition, acupuncture, physical therapy鈥攁ll under one roof.鈥

Kristianna鈥檚 dedication is rooted in more than just clinical expertise鈥攊t鈥檚 about breaking stigmas. 鈥淚n Utah, there鈥檚 often a hesitation to discuss sexual health,鈥 she observes. 鈥淏ut these conversations are crucial. No one should feel ashamed or think their concerns are not important.鈥
Her work is already making a profound impact. Patients leave the clinic feeling seen, heard, and hopeful. Kristianna鈥檚 unwavering commitment to women鈥檚 health shines as she helps patients reclaim their sense of self after cancer. 鈥淚t鈥檚 incredibly rewarding,鈥 she says. 鈥淓very day, I鈥檓 reminded why I chose this path鈥攖o help women feel their best, no matter where they are on their journey.鈥
