About Frontier and Rural Patient Navigators

Living in a rural or frontier area can make it difficult to get the cancer care patients need. A patient navigator can help!

The Frontier and Rural Navigation Program serves patients coming to the Huntsman Cancer Institute Hospital from Montana, Wyoming, and rural Utah. Our navigator can connect patients to hospital and community resources, answer questions, and provide support in many ways. Rural patient navigators can also help health care teams understand the limits rural and frontier patients may face. In other words, the navigator will help 鈥渘avigate鈥 the health care system from diagnosis to survivorship.
