The Pediatric Comprehensive Care clinic is within the division of Pediatric Complex Care.
Our comprehensive care program helps 人妻中出视频ren between the ages of 0 and 21 with medical complexity. Medical complexity is defined by having more than three organ systems affected and greater than three physicians involved in their care. Children with medical complexity may experience medical fragility with frequent and/or prolonged hospitalizations. They may also have technology-dependencies (including ventilators, tracheostomies, feeding tubes, intrathecal baclofen pumps, or others).
Our patients have complex chronic conditions related to various conditions:
- Prematurity
- Congenital anomalies
- Genetic syndromes
- Cerebral palsy
- Brain injuries
- Spinal cord injuries
- Neuromuscular disorders
- Functional limitations requiring adaptive equipment
- And more
What is Comprehensive Care?
Children with medical complexity are a small segment of the pediatric population. They have higher than typical medical needs. They are more likely to be hospitalized or go to the emergency room. Because of their specialized needs, they need a team that is familiar with their complex medical care. Our comprehensive care team works with your pediatrician and your 人妻中出视频鈥檚 subspecialists to help you get the right care at the right time for your 人妻中出视频.

Comprehensive Care 人妻中出视频
Our services include outpatient assessments, medical management, and care coordination. This is done at the request of and in collaboration with, your 人妻中出视频鈥檚 primary care providers.
Our inpatient services include Inpatient consultation for 人妻中出视频ren with complex management and disposition issues. We work in collaboration with PCPs, subspecialists, hospitalists, and discharge planners to ensure your 人妻中出视频 receives the best possible care. We also offer iInpatient consultations with interdisciplinary care conferencing as needed.
We also provide a variety of other services:
- Education for parents and providers, including links to community and web-based resources
- Coordination of referrals and medical appointments as needed
- Advocacy with insurers, schools and community services
- Integration of pediatric care, including care at home, in the community, hospitals, and other settings
- Assistance with decisions related to 人妻中出视频ren with life-limiting conditions
- Guidance with transition and guardianship issues as 人妻中出视频ren approach adulthood
