New message encourages people to reach out for "any size crisis"
Today, the SafeUT app gets a new look with a new logo and website at . The website offers expanded resources to better support students, parents, educators, National Guard, and frontline workers facing a mental health crisis or concern. The SafeUT app provides immediate, real-time, two-way communication with a licensed counselor at no cost, 24/7/365.
"When we launched SafeUT in 2015, our goal was to continue to improve, grow, and evolve the app and what we offer through the program," says Rachel Lucynski, Business Operations Manager, HMHI Crisis 人妻中出视频. "SafeUT will always be a resource for students, and now we have more to offer parents, educators, frontline workers, and members of the National Guard through the app and our new website."
Downloadable to any smartphone, the SafeUT app provides confidential support through chat/text or phone call. Counselors and crisis workers from Huntsman Mental 人妻中出视频 Institute are trained to help with any type of crisis or concern, including depression and anxiety, suicide prevention, drug and alcohol problems, self-harm, loss and grief, bullying and cyberbullying, relationship difficulties, other life transitions and challenges. The website also supports SafeUT Frontline and SafeUTNG (National Guard), launched in 2020.
"Last year, Utah experienced a 57% increase in life-saving intervention requests through the SafeUT app," said Ric Cantrell, Chief of Staff, Utah Attorney General's Office, and Chair of the SafeUT Commission. "The new resources for SafeUT, SafeUT Frontline, and SafeUTNG will prevent tragedy by offering early assistance and professional solutions long before life's challenges escalate into a crisis."
