Our desire to know about the world around us is an important character strength as humans. Walt Disney once said, "Curiosity keeps us moving forward, exploring, experimenting, opening new doors." Or is it, "Curiosity killed the cat"? Like most everything else, our sense of wonder can affect our overall well-being and should be balanced.
