Mental disorders are medical conditions that interfere with how our brains function. The Downtown Behavioral ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ Clinic offers treatment services for adults, ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵren, and teens.
Board-certified psychiatrists and triple-board practitioners (physicians who specialize in pediatrics, adult psychiatry, and ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ and adolescent psychiatry), advanced practice nurses, clinical psychologists, clinical social workers, and senior residents staff the clinic.

Neuropsychological Testing for Adults & Children
Because mental health diagnoses are so complex, they can be hard to identify because their symptoms are usually subtle. Our qualified staff offers neuropsychological testing for patients of all ages, including our geriatric adults (adults over 65) and ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵren.
Neuropsychological testing is formalized testing that can identify conditions that are usually misdiagnosed like ADHD, and diagnose psychological conditions like:
Your psychiatrist, primary care physician, or therapist can give you this type of testing to help decide the best treatment plan for you.
We also offer neuropsychological testing for patients staying in our inpatient facilities.
Consult Clinic
One-Time Psychiatric Assessment
Sometimes, getting in to see a psychiatrist can’t happen soon enough. Our rapid access Consult Clinic gives patients quick access to a one-time psychiatric assessment with a psychiatrist.
We see adults, ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵren, and teens.
Patients must have a referring doctor who is willing to complete the referral form. Your referring doctor must also be willing to receive and implement treatment recommendations from our psychiatrists.
Clinic is held twice a week with appointments scheduled on a first-come basis. We do not schedule appointments more than 14 days out.
Appointments last for 50–60 minutes.
Please note:
- This is NOT a walk-in or crisis clinic. You must call to schedule an appointment. You also must meet the criteria listed above.
- We cannot fill out detailed forms or provide letters, such as disability forms or letters for the court.
- This is a consultation visit only. Our psychiatrist will not prescribe medications during your visit. If you need medication, please contact your referring doctor.
